Acceptable Use Policy
Rules designed to protect deliverability, recipients, and the platform.
Because Outlivo is an outreach platform that utilizes the Gmail API for campaign delivery, we require responsible and lawful use of sending tools, connected mailboxes, and outreach campaigns.
Required sender compliance
- You must connect only Gmail or Google Workspace accounts that you own or have explicit authorization to use.
- You are solely responsible for obtaining recipient consent or establishing a valid lawful basis for outreach under the rules of the jurisdictions where your recipients reside.
- You must maintain your own unsubscribe lists and exclude opted-out recipients from all campaigns without delay.
Prohibited campaigns and list sourcing
- Do not upload purchased, scraped, harvested, leaked, or third-party email lists.
- Do not use the service for spam, phishing, scams, fraud, malware, or distribution of illegal or harmful material.
- Do not impersonate other people, brands, or entities, and do not use deceptive subject lines or misleading sender names.
- Do not use Outlivo for harassment, hate speech, threats, or sending unsolicited bulk commercial communications that violate local anti-spam regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL).
Gmail API and sending restrictions
- You must comply with Google's Program Policies, Google API Services User Data Policy, and Gmail sending guidelines.
- You must not exceed Google's standard daily sending limits or attempt to bypass Outlivo plan caps.
- To safeguard deliverability, Outlivo automatically enforces performance safeguards. If your campaigns reach warning thresholds (5% bounce rate or 0.2% spam complaint rate) or automatic pause thresholds (8% bounce rate or 1% complaint rate), campaign sending will be automatically paused, and we reserve the right to suspend or restrict your account.
Monitoring and enforcement
We may review campaign metrics (such as bounce rates, opt-outs, and delivery failures) and process reports of abuse or policy violations.
Violating this policy may lead to immediate account suspension or termination, deletion of campaign records, and loss of service access without a refund.
