Privacy Policy

Complete transparency on how we handle your data, protect your information, and guarantee your digital privacy.

Last Updated: August 16, 2026

Privacy Policy at a Glance

For fast AI search summarization and user clarity, here are the core principles governing Outlivo's digital privacy standards:

Local-First Client ProcessingMost tools process data directly inside your browser. User inputs and files are not uploaded to Outlivo servers for processing.
No Backend Tool DatabasesWe do not store, log, or harvest your passwords, financial calculations, files, or personal documents.
Transparent Network RequestsCertain lookup tools (e.g. DNS lookups, IP diagnostics) query public APIs directly from your browser to function.
No Registration RequiredUse our tools completely anonymously without creating an account or providing personal identification.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Outlivo ("we," "our," or "us"). We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy comprehensively details our data practices, outlining precisely what information is processed when you use our suite of web-based utilities and applications (the "Service").

By accessing or using Outlivo, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Our core commitment is simple: we provide useful tools that respect your digital privacy with full transparency regarding how data is handled.

2. Local-First Processing Architecture

Outlivo is engineered with a privacy-first, local-first architecture. The vast majority of our tools, calculators, format converters, and code utilities execute entirely locally within your web browser.

Outlivo does not maintain backend processing servers or databases to store, harvest, or log the content you input into our tools. Whether you are generating passwords, formatting source code, creating PDF documents, or computing financial schedules, that computation executes locally on your device using client-side JavaScript, WebAssembly, and standard browser Web APIs.

Once you close your browser tab or clear the tool inputs, that in-memory data is discarded by your browser.

3. Information We Automatically Collect

While we do not collect or store your personal tool inputs or data files, our hosting infrastructure and analytics partners automatically collect standard, non-personally identifiable internet log information. This is standard practice across the internet to ensure the security, reliability, and performance of the Service. This data may include:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) addresses (anonymized where possible).
  • Browser type, language, and version.
  • Operating system and device types.
  • Date, time, and duration of your visit.
  • Referring website addresses and navigation paths.

This data is aggregated and used solely for analyzing traffic patterns, preventing malicious activity such as Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, and maintaining the technical stability of the Service. It is never linked to any personally identifiable tool inputs.

4. Cookies, Local Storage, and Future Advertising

Outlivo currently uses minimal client-side browser storage (such as localStorage) solely for essential functional preferences, such as remembering your selected UI theme (light or dark mode) and preserving local calculator configurations during your active session.

Current Advertising Status: Outlivo does not currently display third-party advertisements or execute third-party ad tracking scripts. In the future, we may partner with reputable digital advertising networks (such as Google AdSense or compliant contextual ad providers) to help support web infrastructure and hosting expenses.

If and when advertising partners are integrated, those third-party providers may use cookies or web beacons to deliver non-personalized or personalized advertisements based on website visits. When introduced, full cookie consent controls will be provided to allow you to customize your preferences or opt out of personalized advertising (for example, via Google's Ad Center or industry opt-out portals such as the Network Advertising Initiative).

5. Third-Party Services & External Network Requests

We believe in full architectural transparency. While Outlivo does not transmit your tool inputs to its own servers, certain specific features and tools necessarily make direct network requests from your browser to external third-party endpoints to fulfill their requested functionality:

A. DNS Record Lookup

To resolve domain DNS records directly without maintaining a centralized proxy server, the DNS Lookup tool transmits standard DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) queries from your browser to public resolvers operated by Cloudflare (cloudflare-dns.com) or Google (dns.google), depending on your selection.

B. Network & WebRTC Diagnostics

To query and display your public IP address and ISP details upon request, this diagnostic utility queries public IP lookup APIs (ipapi.co and api.ipify.org). To estimate network latency, the tool performs lightweight client-side ping requests against global Content Delivery Network (CDN) edge endpoints.

C. Image Background Removal & Media Tools

Media processing tools (including image background removal, compression, and PDF merging) execute entirely locally inside your browser sandbox via WebAssembly and ONNX Runtime. Images, documents, and files selected on your device are not transmitted to Outlivo or remote processing servers.

D. Hosting Infrastructure & Performance Telemetry

Our website is statically served and hosted using modern cloud edge infrastructure (such as Vercel). Standard web telemetry (such as page response latency and anonymous error rates) is captured at the edge layer under SOC 2 and ISO 27001 data security compliance to ensure uptime and safeguard against malicious automated traffic.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your individual tool inputs, calculated numbers, or personal documents.

6. Data Security

Because user tool inputs and file operations are processed locally in your browser rather than stored in central Outlivo databases, the risk of centralized data breaches involving your user inputs is effectively mitigated.

To protect the delivery of the web application itself, all connections to Outlivo are enforced over modern HTTPS/TLS encryption, ensuring code integrity and preventing Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attacks.

7. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)

Under global data privacy laws including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), users have rights regarding access, deletion, and portability of their personal data.

Because Outlivo operates on a local-first model and does not create user accounts or store user inputs in databases, we generally do not possess identifiable personal records associated with your tool activities. If you have inquiries about server telemetry logs or wish to exercise any privacy rights, you may reach out to our privacy contact at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is intended for a general audience of developers, students, finance professionals, and web creators. It is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can promptly address the situation.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update our Privacy Policy to reflect modifications in our operational practices, new tool additions, or changes in legal regulations. Any updates will be published directly on this page with an updated revision date.

10. Contact Us

We value your privacy and welcome your feedback. If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please visit our dedicated Contact Page or email us directly at contact@outlivo.tech.
